Egg & Baby Spinach Fritata
Frittata is an egg-based Italian dish similar to an omelette or crustless quiche, enriched with additional ingredients such as meats, cheeses, vegetables or pasta. The word frittata is derived from Italian and roughly translates to "egg-cake".
That's according to Mr. Wiki. I just wanna share my healthy (??) fritata recipe. #lol
What you will need:
8 eggs
150 gm. Baby spinach
2 tbsp. Olive oil
Garlic (Minced)
Onion (Minced)
2 tbsp. Mayonnaise
1/2 cup Low fat milk
1/4 cup cheese (grated)
Salt & Pepper
What you will do:
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees or you could use a broiler instead. Beat the eggs, add salt and pepper, mayonnaise, milk and cheese.
2. Use a non-stick frying pan. Sautee garlic and onions in olive oil. Add the baby spinach. Stir for a minute. Pour the egg mixture. Transfer the pan in the oven and cook until the top has already browned.
3. Transfer in a large plate. Serve while hot.
